mk1 1.1 conversion? needing some power!!

right i have a 1.1 mk1 golf, can anyone help me out with a fairly easy engine conversion thats going to have a bit of grunt! ABF? 20v turb? or something any ideas?

Small engines: Polo gt, polo 1.4 abd on polo injection
Big engines: mk1 gti engines 1.6/1.8 or a 1.8 kr

would it be easier to buy a donor car you reckon? i wanted something with a lot of grunt but then your looking at a lot of dollar aint i :/

depends what engine you want and what management you want on it

my just stick with my 1litre for now untill i find something suitable for me, maybe just buy a gti later on, cheers guys!
