manual to automatic hood?

Hi ,i'm from Cape Town,S.A and i'm an absolute nutter for mk1 golfs….i have had 2 previous golf's and my 3rd being my dream car…. a mk1 golf cabriolet ,karmann edition…..

is it possible to convert the manual hood to automatic,if so…does anyone know how or how much it would cost?

if you check the wanted forum, theres post in there from me asking for the kit to do it. a gent on there says he sells the kits, but i haven't gotten around to asking him the price yet.

otherwise, look out for a rivage being scrapped, they had the auto hood if i remember correctly.

thanks man,but the chances of me getting a scrapped rivage in SA are really slim…….seriousl,i think i'll check out the wanted section and see if i can get the kit sent to me!
