Lowering advice

Im running on my 86 cabriolet

ATS CUPS
195/45/R15 TYRES ALL ROUND
NO ARCH WORK DONE

How much can i lower it by peeps?

i would ideally like to buy some Koni Sport Shocks and springs, purely as this is cheaper than the coilies i want with adjustable dampening. [weitec, spax RSX]

I have the koni ssk setup (lowers 35 - 40 mm) with 195/50/15's oz volcanos (et 28 I think) and get no rubbing front or rear (as long as you don't have the rears on the lowest 2 settings)

the shocks will be on the stiffest setting these are the top adjustable shocks.

No - I don't mean stiffness. The lower spring perch is adjustable - has 5 settings…

Buy the kit you linked to and see how you like it. The dampers are great and the springs are decent enough. A good upgrade for the springs would be the eibach pro springs which work very nicely with the konis.

Ive got a set of GAZ coilovers and i got it down about 80-90 mm but when you get down too low you will have problems keeping the camber within spec ive since raised mine up to about 60 mm and softened it up a bit

ihave a wietec coilover setup that is lowered by 60mm on the rear and about that again on the front  and i am just about to put a set of rota 8j wheels with 195/50/15 i have tried fitted the wheels and i know i will have to o abit of chopping or highering the car but i would like to keep as low as poss but i am really fidding it hard to set up the camber at the min i set it bang on 1.5 then i drive the car and it out but i will get it bang on one day lol
