K-jet wiring

hi!
 i got a -85 golf cabriolet 1.6
im planning to change engine to 1.8 8v mk2:s engine.
im thinking do i need to change the whole wirings or just add few cables?
all information is welcome

Depends which engine it is k-jet or digifant if yours is injection and the one your puting is k-jet injection its straight swap just use your exhaust manifold and inlet manifold if it digifant from a late mk2 then its a full wiring change as they run an ecu
