hi ive got a 1.8 clipper cab and ive stripped it down to a shell ready to give it rebuild. i want to keep the 1.8 lump but want to know what my options are for getting a little bit more out of it. someone said about r1 bike carbs? but ive neva really messed around with modding engines before so i dont have a clue. ive always been more of a body work and styling person but have decided its about time i started doing some engine mods. any help and advice would be great as im basicly banging my head on a wall. thanks:ocf_emoticons__BangHead:

Have a quick search in the forum, there's a post up about pros and cons for bike carbs from memory. Might be a good starting point  :)

For what you'd gain and what you'd spend I'd just stick a gti lump in. Or a 16v.

Decrease the cars weight
Induction kit
K&N filter
Performance exhaust
Spark plugs

That should not be a huge amount of money and gain a bit in HP
