whhats the et? 28?be aware this may go into a chronic debaate,do a search for other how low threads, personally i like them salammed to death but to others its a waste of a good handlin car,are you doing any arch work?

i dont plan on thrashing the car around and killing it so dont need it to handle like its on rails so not worried about compromising the handling, not sure on the et but on rimstyle.com where i plan on getting the wheels from its says the offset is 20mm, i didnt want to do any arch work.

begin the mass debate lol! :)

i had mine on 15x7 azevs, not sure on the et, but i fitted coilies and the wheels wouldnt turn around, so fitted sum streched rubber and had no rubbing problems whatsoever, the previous owner had done alittle arch work but only mm's, not loads. then i lowered it bout 80mm out back with 5mm spacers and 100mm up front, u couldnt see the top of the tyre under the arch if it gives u an idea, but u couldnt go anywhere quick! looked good tho 8)

so should i be ok lowering it 60mm then? and will 15's with stretched tyre's fill my arches enough?

Yeah i recon you will be sound lots of room for 15" with not much rubber I have 6j with 195 55 15 and there is lots of room and mine is slammed.
If you are going for lowering springs you may have more of a problem as coliy's are alot stiffer and tend not to move about as much so just bare that in mind. Oh a word to the wise dont go any where near non hubsentric spacers!!! save you money and get a dedent set Eibach are resonable!  :D

yeah i was going for some hub centric ones i think are they the ones that bolt into the exiting holes in hub to prevent movement?

my cab is on coilovers and it was silly low had 15x7 with et 28  with 20mm spacers at the back and still didnt rub. the front was low but the steering was really light hated it so raised the whole lot to about 60mm seems fine steering is still a bit light but if your only after looks and not hammering it get it low really low looks ace
