You'll get it down at least 80mm without probs on those wheels/tyres, though the ride starts to suffer… Make sure you put new/uprated bump stops on it!

Did you have to modify the arches to get it down that low?

How low can you go….. untill the bottom of you car hits the deck!

No but seriously you hit to a limit….
It's trail and error. I have coilovers and played around untill I found a balance of looks, comfort and performance. Different people can put up with different levels.

Firstly its the wheels on the arch… get them rolled then its the front spoiler that catches ….. then the front wishbones/roll bar mount (I cant remember) then center section exhaust and also the driveshafts catch the shell!

Coilovers are great get some bought if you can afford them. :D

P.S if you are lowering then remember to get your caster, camber and toe re-set as you will loose grip and wear tyres

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

im runnin 13's and on the back ive gone 120mm (rear subframe hits the flooor sometimes   ) and on the front ive gone about 90-100mm so i could get enough clearance to get my gtifront splitter on

all im gona say is ok yes bein very low looks cool but its very impractical and if i didnt love the waymy car looks/drivesi would problylift it back up lol
