Help with Vernier Pulleys and Cams

Hi Guys' and Girl's

Hav'nt posted for a while but have been reading all others trying to get some advice and tips, now i need some help.

I need to get vernier pulleys fitted and the car set up on a rolling road, does anyone know where i might get this done.

the car currently has a Kent Cam (GS2) i think !! and ticks over quite lumpyish. I have heard that the pulleys are going to sort this out. but will need to be done on a rolling road.

I am in Thanet. about 2 hours from central london.

Thanks

depending on the actual profile of the camshaft, it may always be lumpy on idle at a certian RPM. generally, the fast road/performance camshafts are lumpy on idle, but once into the higher revs they allow more fuel/air to enter and exhausts gases to exit. this is how they get the performance increase.

that does not sound like you have had the best advice. rpm are in borough green near wrotham. give them a call. i would not get a rr set up anywhere else on a vw. or a ford for that. the gs2 is a 290 degree profile. i would expect a little lumpy idle on that. all a verier pulley does is move the power band really.
