get yourself a haynes mate, never had coilovers but can be that much different from fitting any other :dontknow: still must use same mounts.  bet theres instructions with the new kit on how to alter ride height etc.  the haynes will help you removal the existing suspension safely and give you an idea of where to mount new suspension.  i think kins has coilovers :dontknow:  someone will be able to help ya out

think i pretty much have it, from the worx thing that max power did i looked on there roughly, but only had steps like 1 2 6 7 11 and 12 or something lol cus it was only half of the manual.
just want to see what parts i use the same, bolts bump stops? things like that.

oh yeh also TC, coilovers are adjustable suspension ride height/ and some with adjustable stiffness, basically.

Dead easy to fit mate, especially if you go out and buy new strut tops for the front (Good idea anyway for the sake of about ?20). Take the front coilover struts and the new top mounts to a friendly garage and ask them to zip the nut up with an air gun - you'll never ever in a million years do it yourself as the insert turns as you turn the nut - you need an impact gun.

From there, Take the old units off, put the new units on - easy! Just be careful with your camber and tracking as they WILL BE MILES OUT. Take some time to get them as close as you can to "straight" and let a garage do the rest.

Rears are a dodle, though pay attention to the order of the nuts/bolts/washers holding them in at the top. If you put them back together wrong, all sorts of funny things can happen!
The bolt at the bottom of the rears where they mount to the axle is your worst enemy. If this is siezed, you're in for a rough ride…

Hope that helps,
AL.

If your car is a daily driver, keep the exposed threads clean with a brush and fine oil and wind the spring plates up and down so they don't seize.

thats good advice! my h&r's got filthy and were an absolute mare to adjust once. many cans of lube lots of scrubbing and wiping later they admitted defeat.

As long as you have a jack, axle stands, spanners etc you shouldn have a prob :)  The good thing about coilovers is you can do everything pretty easily by hand. As long as everthing goes onto the strut in the right order (there isnt that much and should tell you) theres only a few bolts involved, and they will all be covered by haynes in more detail.
