Help needed getting my MK1 VR6 wired up and running - PLEASE

Hi All,

I am busy with a MK1 VR6 project, this is my first project so learning as I go along. :roll:  The motor is fitted and now I need someone to do the wiring loom for me and get it running. Im getting some ridiculous quotes for this so if anyone could do this for me please tell me what you would charge? I realy want to complete the conversion and dont realy want to be selling it but prob will if nothing pops up.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Quote I got last week for a aftermarket wiring loom made up and put in…£1400 wich i think is a tad on the expensive side!  

rubjonny on here but his waiting list is long

otherwise a guy called andyout  (not on here) should be able to put one together for you.

vr6 wiring is basically same as abf conversion, just that you cant add the mk1/2 coil into it. instead what you do is splice wires to inside the coilpack together for the rev counter:

i charge 110 for this type of conversion, but as said i have 34 looms in already so you would have to wait till december ish

Any idea what these are and if i need them or not?




Driver side front…

1 - 3. vr6 rad fan controler, fan plug and fan switch, you need those

4. not sure,  what are the wire colours?

5. lambda probe, you need this
