Help!! I'm almost finished...

Hi people! i've been putting a 1.8 16v engine into my mk1 gti cabriolet. It's in and with the help from someone on here and there useful wiring diagrams the ecu and tci is wired in, but i have alot of sensors and switches that i dont seem to have any plugs for :dontknow: ? Do I need to get all the wiring from a mk2? I'm almost finished but stuck at this last hurdle, any help would be much appreciated? thanks

Did you use the engine loom?

Fraid you're going to have to take pics or something mate, then we can work out what you're missing  8)

I thought it was o.k to use the wiring from my 8v gti engine but now i think  maybe not because i seem to be short of a few plugs

O'k cheers as soon as i can get back to the garage i will try and get some pics. probably be at the weekend now.

hi can you please tell me what engine your using e.g. mk2 or mk3 and which ecu thanks i got plenty of diagrams easyest way is sending me the engine code thanks

I will have a look at the weekend and get back to you, I took the engine out of a mk2 but not sure it was the original engine for that car either. thanks
