help and info on mind change

hey owners club-as due to lack of sales ive decided to go for few choices on engine but would like to know which is the best conversion-hopin you can help-want reliability and fuel efficent but still nippy and cool looking-so choices are polo gt 1.3,the standard 1272cc in it now(also if this what 5 speed bolts up-gt box?)and the 6n 1.4 16v polo engine n box,want trouble free conversion and motoring so can get to shows and work until i can save enough to get BAM or agu etc conversion done proffesionally

if it was me, MK3 ABD 1.4 block coupled to GT managment. keep the block & head together, just fit a GT cam.  that being said 1.4 16v would be nice, but they're still pretty expensive to buy =unlike mk3 1.4 lumps as no-one really wants em
