Help 16v gone wrong

hey just got my first Mk1 golf . she needs a bit of work but due to being in the Marines I am always off everywhere and can't do it myself. does anyone know where there is a VW mk1 specialist near or in south Wales or some one who knows what they are doing as my mk1 has a 16v conversion and is not running right , so I guess if I take it to a normal garage they wont know what to do as it has the conversion with some dodgy wiring :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:  :dontknow:

give a full description of your problem, when it went/started going wrong, what has been done to the car etc. you cannot give too much info when you have a problem. post it up and we may be able to help you fix it yourself.

try jamiegolfhe is in wales and runs a garage he may be able to help i know hes done 16v conversions
