headlight conversion help?

Hey.. anyone know what it would take to do a round headlight conversion on a 81 rabbit. i heard you need a core support?

I guess you'd have to cut out and weld in a new slam panel to accept the round lights, or at least modify the lamp holes, also replacing the grille.  Not that up on Rabbits but I presume the slampanel has square holes to accept the square lamps :dontknow:
Maybe you could post a picture for reference?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the slam panel was the same and the back of the light unit was slightly rounded to fit?
