GTI Head

Hi,
I have been offered a GTI head to go on my 1600 FN carb block as i have been told it will fit and it has bigger valves.
Is this right? as it will save me some cash not having my old head modified.

i will have to have the injector holes blocked up and welded over, personaly i wouldnt bother.
i always have the last laugh ;)
