Golf 1100 GL --> Oettinger VW Motorsport. Is it worth?

I have all the info on this car:

http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/…iewItem&item=230210614519

it was originally a GL transformed into a GTI by Oettinger for VW Motorsport: what do you think?

I was looking for a true GTI, but this one is cute.

why don`t you get the seller to send you over a few engine shots, as i think Oettingers had different heads put on them,

this site tells alot about it, as i think they were mainly released in france, someone else on here might be able to confirm though

the clocks would of alse been different i think

think they are called golf 16s on there

its not a 16s or as you rightly say French market only 16 soupapes is 16v and has the rare engine in it, Oetinger have had a long association with VW, but i cant see why they would convert such a Late series 2 car that was not already a Gti?
