Going Low

Hi all i've decided to lower my mk1. Can any one recommend a good bit of kit? i want to go about 50mm

FK highsport coilovers , dont ever buy a cheap kit there have been lots of people on here saying how ther cars ride all wonkey and at differnt heights on each corner .I know the fks are dear but trust me they are soooooooooo worth it . i went down so low that my driveshaft on the off side was touching the chassis leg !!!! so i wound it up 5mm , problem solved .  

Yeah, coilovers are the way to go. If you're not happy with the height you set, you can simply change it. Can't do that with springs, without spending more money or putting the old ones back on!
