FULE SUPPLY

hello. the haynes manuel i have is 4 a mk2 . it sais the fule pump is the same 4 both carb and injetion modles is this true as i have a non injection model with 1800 16v going in well its gone in realy. anybody no if i need 2 change the fule pump nor not also fule lines?

Mk2 carb has a mechanical fuel pump on the engine, and the injection models had an electric fuel pump, which are different for K-Jet and Digifant.

They also had an in-tank lift pump for all models.
