Fitting smaller rear lights instead of the bigger rear light
I have a 1983 Mk1 Golf with the longer rear lights but I would like to fit the smaller rear lights. Is this a case of simply buying the smaller lights and fitting them or do I have to change some of the rear bodywork for them to fit?

i think the cabby tailgate trim fits here, which would cover the holes but you would want to fill them in somehow.
