Theres a couple of diferent sizes and ofsets of cookie cutters.
Sizes are 15x7 with et 23 and et 52 as well as 15x6 in et 36.

It was a good while ago that I looked into it to be honest so the ets may be slightly off. The 15x7 et 23 become et 8 by the time you've added 15mm adapters (which is the thinnest available iirc) and as such would need arch work to make them fit.

The 15x7 et 52 supposedly exist and would fit better but are apparently are very rare and I never managed to find any.

The 15x6 would be the best bet but unfortunatly you'd be lucky to find a set of four as the porsches used 2 6's and 2 7's.

I like the looks of the rims but they were going to prove expensive (two sets of rims adapters and tyres) so I didn't bother in the end.

Hope the info helps and good luck if you go for it sure it'll look mint.

i had exactly the same findings, i'd even bought the wheels had them shotblasted and refurbed! (and sold on at a huge loss) i have got a pic somewhere of them on a mk1 with gti arches on - and they still stick out a mile if i find it i'll post it up on here for you.

i belive porsche changed the offset of all there wheels in around 85 (can anyone else confirm this?)

Revived from the dead!!

Did you have a go at fitting the cookie cutters in the end?

If they hare likely to require arch work, what sort of work are we talking about?

Cheers,
