exhaust mount woes

I'm having a lot of problems wih exhaust hangers, they keep breaking / melting. Any Ideas?
I've just splashed out £20 on a set of proflex ones after getting through a lot of rubber ones but the front ones already started melting and the furthest back one looks like its starting to break after just one use.

I think the wrapped exhaust manifold is contributing to the increased temperature of the front mount, the back one just looks like it needs another/stronger mount

Any help or advice from anyone else would be really appreciated.

also vw/gsf do uprated mounts with chains in them. i got mine from an older audi in the scrappy

nice one, looks like an effective bodge!

Agreed - a superduper bodge....maybe use stainless clips though - easier to remove than using a hacksaw!!!
