I then decided I wanted more power, and went out and bought a 20vt engine, to put in it. Its taken me about two years to get to the stage I'm at now, I've done all the work myself this time, and I've spent almost £2000 so far getting it all put in.
Thats with scrimping on stuff like the ECU which I partially built myself, and buying Vauxhall front brake calipers etc.
Like the previous posters have said it all depends on how much you want to spend and what sort of out come you want. If your willing to do the work your self you can learn alot and save your self a fortune. There is loads of guides on here and around the web on pretty much all the engine conversions people usually undertake.
