dx head on ex block what needs to be done
hi all after seriously damaging my engine on my baby (nut from airbox to carb killed head and pistons) i was wondering what needs to be done about blocking the injector holes out on the dx head. and also is there anything else that needs to be considered in the change over? i want to keep it on carb so i know i need to use original inlet manifold, any advise would be greatley appreciated as id love to have it ready to go along to the AGM show. failing this has anyone got an ex engine thier doing nothing with ? thanks

several options
1. remove insert, drop in penny, refit insert
2. swap in gearbox fill/drain plugs if its the right type of head
3. leave the injectors in
swap over all carb bits that differ, you'll need to swap over the fuel pump on the front, inlet etc. also what carb is it? if webber great no problem. if 2e2 then you'll need to drill a hole in the head for the coolant chanel, which might not be possible if its the type of engine with air shrouded injectors.
