driveshafts

Hello people,

Currently doing a 20vt in a driver, Ive bought the 100mm cabby driveshafts and ive got a o2j gearbox, But they dont match! Has anyone got any idea, do i have to get different gearbox flanges?

Any help welcome.

What's the speciic gearbox code of the 02J, what was it from, and how don't they match?

its the o2j box from a 1.8t, the flange in the gearbox has a bigger diameter than the driveshaft.

You will need mk4 tdi flanges, they are 100mm and then off you go

Nice one matey, you dont happen to know what gear selector to use? as the 1.8t selector is too tight to work, Someone has mentioned about the mk4 tdi selector, is this true?

Yeah, I believe the 02J used 100mm and 113mm flanges. Swap them to 100mm ones and you're okay. Guide to fitting flanges is on www.brokevw.com I think.

hmm my o2a had the correct size flanges on it im wondering weather these would fit a o2j if so a passat would have these flanges
