it's a length of rubber and some super glue basicly. you cut to length and glue and hay presto any size you want.
not seen them for a few years but sure there still about.

Rather you than me! If the o-ring thing doesn't work I might try filling it up with expanding foam. That should keep it from rattling about…

thought about using inner tube? you can stack a few circles together if you want it thinker. and no breaks in the circle.

did an oil and filter change last night and noticed that the seal on the filter would be about the right size for what your after and it's flat so should sit abit better.
