Custom Rubber "O" Rings...

Hi. Does anyone know where I can get some O rings made up? I need them to fit around the rear shocks and inside some adjustable spring platforms I have to stop everything rattling around.

Can't remember the size off the top of my head - need to go and measure up…

buy an o-ring kit.

it's a length of rubber and some super glue basicly. you cut to length and glue and hay presto any size you want.

not seen them for a few years but sure there still about.

We've just bought 80m from either RS or Farnell. If you ask me nicely, I'll cut some off and send it to you.

Ah, I've found it on RS. Comes in different thicknesses… I see!

If yeha's isn't any good I've got some 1/8" rubber o-ring cord here…

Cheers Rich. Don't think it'll be quite thick enough though. Needs to be about 5mm…

thats not an O-ring thats a rubber ring. people float across the channel on thinner.

Rather you than me! If the o-ring thing doesn't work I might try filling it up with expanding foam. That should keep it from rattling about…

thought about using inner tube? you can stack a few circles together if you want it thinker. and no breaks in the circle.

I can send you a complete O ring kit various thickness of rubber,glue and even the knife for cutting it. just Pm me

going to drag this up again.

did an oil and filter change last night and noticed that the seal on the filter would be about the right size for what your after and it's flat so should sit abit better.
