Cupra R 6 speed box in mk1 20v conversion

Does anyone use the 6 speed box in a 20v conversion? Would the mountings be different or anything else?  I figured i would get my info together before starting my project.

Hi mate the conversion isnt straight forward requires top and rear gearbox custom mounts. Drive shaft flanges are diffrent you will need modded shafts, Hydraulic clutch conversion in the pedal box, the engine coversion will also need the cambelt side engine mount hope this helps  :wink:

can i ask what the difference in the shafts is and where do you get modded shafts?
