Converting a 1.1 to a 1.6 gti......

On the way with my conversion, got my 1.6 fully rebuilt, ported head skimmed and fitted with racing cams.. got twin 40's and my inlet manifold. so i think i got the major things i need. need exhaust manifold/full system… im just a bit stuck with the other parts i need, kind of jumped into it as i was given the block and didnt really think everything through!    :? . I could really do with someone a lot more intelligent than me, to give me a list of the remaining parts i need!!! Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. rob

I kinda did the same with mines,went from 1.1 to G60.Since youve got thte engine an all that you mays well go ahead.You need  the drivers mount relocated back to the big block mount,youll need big block engine ,gearbox mounts.New servo/master cylinder/calipers/discs and lines.Not sure on drive shafts.Radiator,(all following from big block)emm fuel lines(might need new tank?),clutch cable,accelerator cable,engine loom,gear linkages and also change the selector mount that bolts top the shell inside.Its where the shifter bolts to and houses the selector rod.I think thats it but im not sure when running carbs so you might need more or less than ive saiD.It looks alot but its not really.

No i dont have one,use pauls though at the top of this thread,thats basically what i used.
