changing servo and mc

about to change the servo and master cylinder on my 1.3 cab lhd to a gti servo/mc. is it possible, and what are the dangers if any? :dontknow:

Rather dersperate for info, moving house on Friday, so the car has to roll.  Currently has no brakes!

Which country are you from? We don't get LHD 1.3 cabbys in the UK, hence no replies.

I am in the UK, Wolverhampton for now, then onto Lancashire on Friday !The car is a Spanish import with a HK engine.

i'm no expert and i no nothing of LHD engine set ups, but i have recently upgraded my servo and M/S to those from a 16v.

there's a good guide with tips in the technical section on the left hand tool bar.

as long as you mount the servo onto you LHD bracket, you should be fine.

hopefully someone with greater knowledge than i will help you out if need be.

Have started to take out the servo/mc-Servo is connected to brake pedal :banghead:
looking more complicated now.
Will the gti servo/mc fit is the question?

Right.
Rod on gti servo is 3cm long, the original servo is 10cm!
This aint gonna fit!
Just gonna change the original mc, and see if that does the trick :banghead:
