Carbon Fibre bonnets

I've found someone making CF bonnets for our Mk1's, he's quoting a price of ?300, I was wondering if we could get a few people together and see if we could get the price down a bit Would anyone be interested?

I've just had a word with the supplier and he says that if we can get 5 people he'll give a 5% discount and 10 people he'll give a 10% discount, sadly if I get 100 names he won't give them away free

Suppose I need to speak to admin to make this all proper.

id fit it before you buy it,  300 sovs is a lot of money

Smith & Deakin do fibreglass parts including a bonnet.

?300 is only just scraping the bottom end of the price bracket for CF bonnets so its certainly not to be over looked if you really feel a mk1 would benefit from one?!? I personally think that CF parts only look right on dark coloured motors (eg gun metal grey or black).

you could always just go crazy and have all the panels made from CF:
