Car boffins.. Can i use a LHD complete car and engine loom?

I have been having a nightmare sourcing a complete loom for my car.  I have found a LHD loom which is complete with all wires including fuse box, ecu, mfa clocks, etc.  Can i use this loom?  Apart from the loom being mounted on the other side of the car i dont see a prob.  As essentially its just a loom flipped over.  Can anyone confirm this, as its in good knick.

Also do mk2 scirocco looms fit mk1?s?  

i have an 89 clipper carb converting to injection.

the lhd loom will be to short i think it will never reach the clocks :wink:
