Brake suggestions please

I have a 1.3 mk1, the front brakes are seized and seen better days as the car has been sitting for years. so going to replace them.

just wondering what people would recommend doing ( change to mk2, gti from mk1 )
plus easiest place to get the parts needed.

Any help would be great

if its staying 1.3 for the forseeable future i would just chuck on VWII caliper + carriers setup from mk1 1.5-1.8, and 239 vented discs & pads.

Check the EBC link at the bottom left of this page, I got my ultimax discs, pads and shoes and also got goodridge braided hoses when I was at it.
