Blank canvas, Rare Mk1 Van

ok, i'm a newbie, first mk1 golf, currently own however, 2 gti mk2, a t4c van, and a t3. ok this new van has no engine, so think originality is scuppered, so what u recomend, looking at a 93-97 tdi golf, or just keep it simple and bolt in mk2 gti lump! what u recon

Dunno mate im having the same dilema, the 1.8 T is the daddy but its alot of money.

properley set up can achieve 180bhp+

i'd love the 16v, but my insurance co definatly wont, only 19. did have a look today at a very bent corrado 16v, still might have it for leather alone, but yer insurance my constraint rather than budget.
