I have tried an M10 but it is definately different, someone did suggest that there is a standard metric and also a fine metric. The thread is definately finer than a standard metric thread!!!!!!!!  :dontknow:

If there is a FINE metric thread(or am I just going nuts?), if so anyone got any idea where to get them from as everywhere I have been have only sold Metric,UNF etc     :dontknow:

any shop which sells nuts and bolts i.e any motorfactors or god forbid, halfords should sell M10 fine nuts aswell as the standard course nuts.
if you are really struggling i think alot of jap motors use this size thread on the top strut mounts aswell.

There are 3 pitches for M10. 1.0mm, 1.25mm, 1.5mm. 1.5mm is the standard course pitch and 1.25mm is the fine. 1.0mm is sometimes referred to as extra fine.
