big brakes!!

im looking into putting bigger brakes on to my mk1 gti, i am puting a 2.0 16v in it.

i have calipers and master cylinder off of a mk4 golf 1.8t, is it possible to fit these brake to my mk1,
i also have a mk2 16v that i could take the brakes off of, which would be better to swap,
i was thinking on going for the 1.8t ones due to the better stopping power.
any help would be great

only thing useable from the mk4 is the rear calipers….butu even then you need the mk2 rear carriers  :wink:  get reading as its all been well covered.
