best fan to use for a 2.0l 16v conversion

Hi there can any one help. i was told to use a peugeot fan core and then use an after market rally type pacet fan. has anone else used other types of cores and fans ?all help would be great

Was an aftermarket one, couldn't say what sort it was, long time ago.

cheers again for the info. so why cant you use the original radiator core with an aftermarket strap on fan unit ?

also hope you dont mind me asking you all these questions.

with regards to the fuel lines i am going to run mine inside the car as i will be useing twin 45 dellortos and have all the filter king and facit pump etc etc. i assume the fuel line runs from the carbs into the filter king then into the cockpit at this point you connect the fuel hose onto copper a single copper line or do you still use the twin fel lines as with the stndard injection ? if you use a single fuel line this will then run through the fuel pump into the fuel tank. im not ure if any of that made sense. youe help would be very greatful.

I'm just using std GTI rad and fan…..I can;t see any reason to need to change unless theres clearance issues with the carbs?
