Audi 80 TB on a mk1 GTI

Hi guys, im keen to carry out the common modification of replacing the standard gti throttle body with one from an audi 80. Im aware i would have to port the inlet to match, but im struggling to source the TB. I know nothing about old audis, do i need the TB from a particular model or age of audi 80 or will any audi 80 TB do the job???

hi fella how much did you want to pay for one as i have one that i didnt really want to sell but funds are low so make me an offer i have the inlet manifold to match some where in my attic.

mk2 golf gti 8v and 16v tb is the same size as the audi one

apparently the audi 80 tb used with the audi 80 pressure reg instantly adds between 4/8 brake this is what iv been told by two or three peps now but i aint ever tryed it so dont know :dontknow:

can use the kr pressure reg instead
