worth porting it while it's out. not bad for the money.

heard good reports on Club Gti about them . And about the porting too.

Heard varying remarks for ashley products but on the whole a 4 branch manafold should make a great deal of difference to driveability!

Would think about porting it as well seeing its out as wooders said.
Its better for na engines to help em breathe better!

oh yea also, the diameter of the exhaust where it bolts to the center section looks abit big (not checked my center section yet) will this bolt straight on or will i have to get a reducer? anyone fitted one of these to a standerd gti system?

Ideally you need a complete system, otherwise you don't really get the full benefit off it. That's what I thought when I bought my new manifold and system.

Having said that, the exhaust gases are going to have cooled a lot, hence slowed down a lot too, by the time they've passed through the manifold and into the mid section, so it might not be such a big issue.

You can buy general/miscellaneous fitting pipes and reducers, from the likes of Demon Tweeks or Rally Design.

Top tip for you, use the exhaust gaskets from a G60. they're a better fit and slightly bigger so you get no overlap into the ports.

hope that helps
