Anyone have pics of mk1's on 13's !!

I'm thinking of getting some 13" bbs rims, but wonder if they'll look good with (currently) only a 30ishmm drop from standard . . .

Pics of mk1's on 13, 14, 15, 16" bbs crossspokes for comparison would be great  

don't have any pics but don't you have to run 1.1 Mk1 breaks to fit 13's?

in my opinion though 16's would make a mk1 look like a roller skate  :?

I know it's not fashionable, but I think 13 or 14" look best on a MK1. 15" are ok but can start to look a little oversized depending on style - 16 just look ridiclous. Been looking for some 13-14" BBS's myself. 13" ones in particular seem hard to come by, 14" far more common.

These look like the early 14" gold centered optional extra BBS's. Never seen a set of these for sale!

You can fit 13s over the standard 239mm front brakes. But if you go 256mm fronts then 14s are minimum. 280mm brakes need 15s minimum. HTH

I am just awaiting delivery of some 8x13" ATS Classics from Germany which are going on my Cab i think, so i'll post some pics up.

I'm very tempted to purchase a set of those! love them…. :mrgreen:

WOW those rims look fantastic ! how much of a drop do you have on your car biggaz ? i'll have to keep my beady eye on ebay.

i have a set of those gold factory option bbs's on my white mk1 they are gorgeous when they are clean and they suit it down to the ground when lowered 35mm.i might be perswaded to sell them if i can get some more wheels to put on my car
