any one knw were to get group N runnuing gear

im trying to build my mk1 into a rally car and carnt find anyone who will suply with me with the required essentials anyone help,,,,

You can still get the original Bilstein parts. They aren't too expensive either, but the front are fixed spring seat so expect to pay around ?100 for a pair of springs. The rears are height adjustable but not by a screw thread. They use a spring clip with the spring seat above it. I think the adjustment is in 10mm steps. I'm not sure if they accept a 2.25" spring or the original diameter spring. I'm looking to make some shock bodies to accept Nova inserts as these have the same rating as the Golf strut, but I can make them to suit 2.25" springs with full adjustment. If you want to run the car lower on pure tarmac, then the group A race stuff is fully adjustable. I have tried getting Bilstein to make me a set of full height strut bodies with the threads on, but I've got nowhere so far.
