A few questions!Engine Mounts and 02J gearbox for 1.8T 20V

To begin with I am looking for the mounts for an AGU lump with 02J gearbox attached which will be using a hydraulic pedal box. Where can they be found?

My only other confusion is as far as the 02J box goes. I am going to put a (lightened) G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch in which I know is the best option. What other modification needs to be made to allow the box to fit and utilise the standard mk1 driveshafts. Also what cables do I need to attach the shifter tower to the box.

I am intending to use OEM management to keep the knock sensor and because I can get it de-immobilised and remapped from a friend. Therefore I have a shopping list which consists of:

AGU Engine
Intake and Exhaust Manifolds
Turbo
Alternator
Engine loom
ECU
02J 5 speed box with shifter tower
Shift cables of some description to suit
Engine mount + Gearbox mounts
Water Pump and Cambelt kit
VR6 clutch and G60 flywheel

I think that is it? Is there anything I am missing? I assume clocks and key are irrelevant as I will be de-immobilising and mapping the ECU.

One last question which is un-related to the engine, I am going to use a CrazyQuiff pedal box with bias brakes and hydralic clutch. However I would like to run a servo so that my brakes are easy enough to use without loads of effort. Is that wise? or should I avoid the servo and go MC only. I am running mk2 16V discs all round. However am looking to upgrade the fronts at some point.

Cheers,
Joe

I'd go with a 02A box from a mk3 golf/corrado/passat as they have the right driveshaft flanges for the 100mm mk1 driveshafts to fit straight on.  The 02J uses a 108mm driveshft flange on most of them and you need to change the flange for a 100mm one, not sure what gearboxes these came on but the flanges i've seen for sale seem to command a high price for what they are.

I did notice that on eBay actually that the 100mm flanges go for silly money, but I don't think a broken mk3 gti gearbox with them on will be too hard to find. We shall see. Otherwise I may go for the 02A but I would prefer to keep the more modern 02J if I can.

Think the fitting into the diff is different though between the 02a and 02j which is why the 100mm flanges for the 02j box command a high price, if the 02a flanges fit they would be cheap as there's plenty of 02a boxes about.

i am about to be breaking a mk4 gti with an agu engine, car is still complete and running at moment and more importantly could be seen / heard running, it is high mileage at around 110000 miles but no faults on engine management or oil pressure problems, only problem would be distance as im in ne scotland but if you were interested i would easily sell complete or break and pallet anything you need, pm if you are interested in anything and i will give prices accordingly,
