225 quattro into mk1 golf

hi there i was wondering if any 1 new of any1 that has put an audi tt engin and running gear into a mk1 golf i have a mk1 with a 1.8 16v i have had it for some tme now and had loads of fun i have nos for it but i fear the engin is ready for some work and may be a little weak so i was thinking tt the thing put the nos on that instead
