20vt with megasquirt, fuel pump clicking off

Hi guys, i have an issue with my 20v running on megasquirt 2 extra waisted spark and cops, the car starts fine and prevously the car ran fine no issues . The issue im having is that it has an intermitant fault, now and again whilst on tick over and driving the relay that controls fuel pump and coilpacks and connected to the ecu clicks off for a millie second, it causes the car to drop in revs but not die then comes back on. The cars been running fine just now and again get this fault, started to be more often now. Put a new fuse box in and new crank sensor thinking it might be losing tach signal but its made no difference, also checked and cleaned the earths. Dont know what to do next. Any body got any ideas what this could be? im stumped now. Any ideas would be much appreciated, many thanks Andy

hi how are you. not seen you in a while. not seen your golf since you finished it. come round for a chat.
anyway sounds like a loose conection that is arching so getting worse over time. check connections to relay are tight. may also be internal ie on a pcb, dry joint that has worked loose! had a similar prod with an imobiliser once easy fix but hard to find.

Hi stu, thanks for the reply, inbox me your number as i have havnt got it anymore, or if you have mine just tx me. Ive checked all the connections to relay are nice and and tried a new relay, not sure if it has to be a certain ampage or not  :? im ok with electrics but no expert so wouldnt know what im looking for if i took the ecu apart or how to check it. Any chance you would be able to have a look? with you being a sparky and all.
