20vt wiring advise please

I'm saving up for a 20vt lump at the min and was wondering can I use standard management or is it just better to get the mega squirt ecu and get the loom sorted by rub johnny?
I'm clueless when it comes to wiring,the mrs uncle would get the job of fitting the wiring as he's a vw specialist but I would like to do as much as I can myself
Any help advise would be great

its entirely up to you, pors and cons with both. if oem need immob defeated, i can still make the wiring loom for you

so jonny, if i wanted you to do this to use my mk1 fuse box… what do i need to send you?

makes no odds if oem or ms, £120 for both

when i make looms i need the donor engine loom (both halves for mk4) and the engine loom from your old car or any other mk1/cab/caddy with same fusebox as yours. 1.0-1.8 makes no odds just as long as the fusebox is the same

ok so can i book maine in??? - when you say both parts of the mk4, mines outta a passat and it seams i have one continues loom from the ecu/fuse box back to the engine connectors….. is what you want as well as the engine/fusebox loom of the mk1?

boom do i put a deposit down or anything like that?

EDIT: im pretty sure i booked in with you earlier - possibly a month or so ago… cannie remember lol

passat loom may be an issue, as the engine is fitted 90degrees to how it is in a mk1/2/3/4? all the inlet n stuff is all different so i dont think the loom will plug in nicely once you convert it to mk4 fitment?

basically get the ecu, i need everything that plugs into it. mk4 have 2 halves of loom that go to ecu so i need both halves. if you're happy that passat is ok in your bay then i can do it for you

yea i think for me it wont be an issue as i can legnthen/change the bits i need too and solderit all up… just getting it all plug n play is the issue i have lol….

seams like i may be missing some part of the loom possibly?!?!
