Hi Gary,

What seems to be the problem. Perhaps if you asked on here there are loads of folk who have done the conversion in many different forms who could assist you. Don't give up just yet mate

Whereabouts are you located? Someone should be able to recommend a reputable place local to you.

Hi Gary,

Not being thick at all mate it's a common question. You will need an account with a picture hosting website like Photobucket.

Have a read of THIS thread which should point you in the right direction.

Hi peps, mine sits on an angle, there's a small pipe on top if the inlet manifold close to the throttle body that foals on the bonnet . I just cut and blanked it. I reckon we both bought the cheap conversion mount that takes a standard mk1 gear box mount! this makes them sit higher. Mine shuts ok tho with no major fouling!   Don't give up now Gary , you have ups and downs with any conversion… My downs wiring at the mo (standard ecu ect)

pics of the mounts would help out, it might be that you have mounted it wrong or got the wrong ones, I know peterg60 had a similar issue

yes i brought a driver side mount from @@@@@@ and had same issue as you couldnt close bonnet. brought a driver side mount from crazyquiff and no problem .  must be the angle they weld the mount. my first purchase must of been a guess but with crazyqiff they must of tried and tested and i had no more clearance issues. very good price aswell

Gary you could consider TSR performance, they are familiar with these conversions and not a million miles from you i think
