20vt fuelling

Im converting a 1.3 to a 20vt. Does anyone have a diagram of the fuelling setup from a gti?
Im going to be using the kjet fuel pump, do i still require the accumulator?

Thanks guys.

no need for the accumulator on the 1.8t, thats k-jet only :)

can get a barbed banjo fitting off ebay which converts the threaded fitting on the pump to a push fit fuel line fitting, can then use rubber/nylon pushfit hoses and a digifant fuel filter.

with the 1.3 tank you will need a later cabby/rocco or mk3 polo lift pump and fuel reservoir to prevent fuel starvation issues

Thanks Jonny. Would you mind posting a link to the banjo fitting on ebay? I'll be using mk3 plastic fuel pipes.
Im changing the tank to a gti tank so the lift pump should be alright? Do I still need a reservoir?

ah cool, with a gti tank just need the L pipe and all is well, plus a bracket for the pump if yours is rotten. crazyquiff does em both :)

this is the kind of thing i mean:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12MM-BANJO-8MM-HOSE-M12x1-5-BOLT-FUEL-OIL-/390330527114
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12MM-BANJO-6MM-OIL-HOSE-M12X1-5-FUEL-HEAD-FITTING-/280651594831

choose the one to match fuel hose size :)

you dont use the included bolt though, rather you use the old domed nut off the pump. if you dont have that, then you'll need this one:

Cheers Jonny. I'll get the L-pipe and this:

Then all I need is the kjet pump and swirl pot off a mk3 polo?
Is that foam holder for the fuel pump still available?

Btw regarding our conversation earlier, the gti lift pump only has 2 pins. Why is it i need the 3 pin plug?

ah sorry, you dont need the swirl pot or a lift pump with a gti tank, the tank has an internal swirl pot. you dont need the 3 pin plug either, just run the red/yellow wire direct to the under car pump and run an earth from the chassis or claw to the pump along side it. leave the old 2 pin plug as is :)
