20vt custom boost pipe and n75 question

im havin a bit of trouble getting my head round the boost pipe set up, so if anyone could make like smaties and give me the answers id be really greatfull.

im using an ARX engine from a golf

so 1st the intake pipe it has a small pipe at the bottom nearest the turbo inlet can this be removed is it for the silly air pump system that ive taken off?

if im using a QPENG managment can i replace the N75 valve with a manual variable boost controler?

the OEM boost outlet pipe has the tails on for the dump valve and a smaller one for N75 valve so if i use new pipes to re route the boost pipe how do i connect the DV and N75? do i have to weld in the tales?

thats it for now thanks  :D

Right, I'm using Megasquirt ecu, but it doesn't utilise boost control anyway, I just used the original inlet pipe to the turbo, and blanked off the two holes with a big bolt and jubilee clip and a broken reducer socket that I had lying around.

I'm then planning on fitting a manual boost controller between the small pipe that comes off the turbo actuator and the top pipe on the throttle body.  This seems to be the way forward from what I can gather from a few of the builds on here.

Your diverter valve needs to be fitted as close to your throttle body as possible, so I believe. I've just got a straight silicone 'T' pipe and fitted my dump valve to that.

The rest of the piping is up to you, I've had a few issues with boost pipes that have to travel under the battery and then over the rocker cover, (the bonnet sqashes one of my pipe joins a bit)!
