2.0 ltr 16v brake upgrade

hey! i currently bought a mk1 golf project, which had been started of when i bopught it! it now has a 2.0ltr 16v conversion. However it still has the standard 1.8gti front brakes! i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what conversion to take up eg : simplist, most common, and where i would find information on how to out carry the conversion.? cheers sean

Look in the braking faq section for all the info you need. Cheapest upgrade is to fit 256mm vauxhall calipers & carriers and fit a mk2 16v servo & mc.
