2.0 block 1.6 head
Hi I was just wondering if I could fit a 2.0 block in my 1.6 gti using the original 1.6 head

Wassup with the existing 2.0 head? What advantage are you trying to achieve with the 1.6 head? As I see it, the fact that one has mechanical tappets, and the other has hydraulic ones, probably means the oil channels are sufficiently different, so it wont work. Also you'll end up with 2 oil breathers or something - which isn't as bad as ending up with none!
