16v twin carbs

I give in!!!!!!!  went on my first road test,after doing a 16v twin carb conversion,it went ok until it cut out,the only thing i could find was the coil was hot,witch is a new unit,the TCI unit was a little warm.
 Can anyone tell me if this is right! i have put the red/black from the mk1 loom to the - on coil,and the green wire from the 16v loom on the -
i put the black wire and the white wire witch are connected together from the mk1 loom on the + side,and the black wire,black/white wire witch are conected together from the 16v loom to the + on the coil.

Scuse my ignornace, don't know much about carbs setups,  So you have the KR ECU and TCI?

What model is the mk1?

doh, irrelavent which ECU, forgot the wires to the coil are from the TCI anyway…

yeah, your wiring is fine

do you have your TCI on a heatsink to keep it cooler?

Thanks for answering! ive got the ECU and TCI in side the car,just resting on the shelf for a min,the coil is a pattern part do you think it might be faulty
