16v conversion in mk1 golf master cylinder

hi peeps ive just put 1.8 16v in my mk1 but the dizzy is hitting the mastercylinder ?? what one should i use or what should i do can anyone help please thanks ade :dontknow:  :dontknow:

What spec/age mk1 was it originally out of interest?

hi 1983 1.1 it was a long time ago now was running a 1.8 carb out of a scirroco but diff went in box and started smokin alot didnt like hamshall lol i will post some photos when i find out how to do it? i have done brake upgrade but still running drums on back which i will change thanks for all the help lovin it nearly done now . what front pipe can i use got the manifold off corrado ? one must fit? i hope

i'm running my origanal fuse box and the corrado fuse box i'm just going to run a ignition live to fuse box and earth out ? will that work ?plus if i use corrado loom on temp gauge and stuff how do i get to work on my clocks ? so for all the questions but want to get it on the road just painting up engine while i wait so should look nice thanks again
